Took my class yesterday

I won the Lightweights at my show yesterday (NPC Louisiana State Championships). This pics are either from Friday night or very early Saturday morning, we took so many pics to check my conditioning I don't remember which this are. But I did get drier for the night show, I'll try to get pics up for the PJ and Night show if I can find some good ones. Next step is Jr Nationals in 2010 as either a welter or middle. I had a tough time making weight so the last few days were a little stressful for me but I was able to pull it out.

Yea I def got alot of work to do before I hit the stage in 2010, especially if its gonna be Jr. Nationals but for the first time ever I have an offseason plan. So I won't be just eating double whoppers everyday for protein! lol My plan is to come in at top of welter weights so we will see what happens!

I learned a good bit about my body with this show, so thats great! I actually woke up this morning at about 4am and couldnt go back to sleep so I hit the shower and man I was looking freaky! After the show I drank a powerade zero and went to a mexican joint and ate loaded nachoes and drank a water and diet coke, drank another powerade zero throughout the night and and 4 when I woke up a had veins coming out my ass! lol I was covered and was still dry and hard. So I think I might have pulled a little to much water out, I wrote everything down and I can go back and read and map out a better game plan for my next show. Regardless of all that I won and am qualified for nationals and that was my goal! Now its time to GROW! haha

Thanks! Now it's time to move up a weight class! I talked to the judges after I got off stage for the overall (the lightheavy won the show) and they told me my conditioning was excellent. And they said they noticed I came in drier and tighter for the night show. I asked what I should work on and they just said to fill out my frame, they like my symmetry just said I need to pack on more muscle (which I plan on doing!). But they were really impressed with my condition, especially when they found out I just turned 21 lol

Thanks for all the nice words guys, this offseason should be my best ever as I will try to stay somewhat lean and eat cleaner year round. Top of welters is 164 1/4 I believe so I'll try to get to a pretty lean 195 or so

I worked backstage at the contest and got to see him up close...his conditioning was terrific, he has great shape (very nice guy too). There was no doubt in my mind that the class was his.

A few more years, ie "a few" more lbs , and you'll be a real threat on a national stage, trust me.

Thanks for all the nice words guys. My ultimate goal is to be a light heavy to really be a true threat on the national level at my height but I gotta take baby steps first so taking the welterweight class at Jr. Nationals in 2010 is my main focus now. I'm already back to eating pretty clean! I ate pretty much whatever I wanted Sunday but today I was back in the gym and back to clean eating, although I did have a slice of cake (my girl bought me a HUGE superman red velvet cake so I can't let it all go to waste!) haha But starting monday its clean eating all week and a little cheating on weekends
