I believe the standup could be interesting but Penn will take him down and sub him. No one's jiu jitsu in that division is even on the same planet as Penn's.
wow! K-flo, Mir and Penn alll fought amazing tonight....very impressed! that is the most focused i have ever seen the Prodigy, he just picked apart Sanchez. Diego has got some serious heart though surviving that first round....
I dont know about you guys but i would like to see a Penn and GSP rematch. With BJs revamped training and strength, I think it would be a lot more even fight.
It was nice to see Bj focused and in great shape. Boy diego was almost unrecongnizble, at the end of the fight I thought that this was one of the best cards I've seen in a while. Clay Guida, and congo got owned:sport-smi
gsp would still dominate him.. he (bj) even said that another fight would not occur.. gsp was able to take penn down easily.. that 20pound makes a big difference.. and gsp skill level is better than penns.. even though penn is great.. penn always looks great fighting other 155 pounders.. but gsp is in another league in size and strength.. i was more impressed with penn tonight but, still could not understand how he could not have finished diego in any of the rounds leading up to the stoppage.. i think diego would have survived the round in 5 and it would have gone to a decision if not for the cut.. he did not go for the shoot and i was kinda dissappointed..
I was thinking the same But Diego was Just tough! Guy can take a beating.
Id say today his face looks like a dead man walking.
Those punches were hard...diego was Just eating them.
Penn left without a single mark on him
That was an ASS KICKING. Diego will have a Nice Huge scar to remember it buy each time he looks in the mirror.
I agree with lats though he doesnt want to Fight GSP again..... although Penn won there first fight IMO
