Virtual Private Networks

I realize these are set up for businesses, are there any VPN's that are available for individuals to use? I'm trying to find something that not only hides my traffic from hackers but my ISP as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think you are misunderstanding what a VPN is actually for. You do not need a VPN. You need an open proxy server to pipe through. There are a number of proxy servers that are open out there and a number of programs that sniff for them. Look for a program called "Hide The IP" as it is fairly easy to use. Keep in mind that if you send email through an email client instead of using webmail, you can trace the header even if you are behind a proxy.

findnot yes

findnot is VPN, its better than proxy
it can hide your stuff by giving your system a brand new ip address, which all programmes use automatically plus it is faster then proxy but findnot is famous and used by fraudsters alot so all of its servers are banned on many sites.

I agree with this - I've heard the same thing about it.

FindNot is a proxy. It just allows you to VPN into their network to use it. The difference is, if someone knows who you are they can lock onto your IP and sniff what you are sending to a normal proxy. BUT if you use a proxy from the start, they will not know who you are to begin with that would allow them to sniff you in the first place. It all depends on how safe you really want to be and how much money you want to spend. Again, though, if they do not know who you are in the first place they cannot sniff you. Well, I shouldn't say "cannot" because there are answers to everything.
