Anyone incorporate yoga into their training ? I know it might be considered static stretching , which has become a no no ?
Thanx

When did stretching become a no no to do i must have missed that one. I do it at the end of my workouts all the time.

I did yoga for quite awhile. It’s nice to mix it up. It doesn’t typically burn a ton of calories, but the isometrics are challenging, and the stretching is relaxing and invigorating at the same time.
Certain key positions started tearing up my lower back up, so I moved on. I haven’t done it in a couple of years now.

Good point , my back does seam worse afterwards. Thought I just needed to do more !
Thanx for input

Many of the traditional yoga moves are not that great according to some Orthopedic surgeons. Stretching a muscle can be good. Trying to twist joints to see how far you can get them to go, not so much.
