Last night before I went to sleep I weighted 207. This morning I was 200 even. I typically lose around 4-5 pounds, I guess I really had a lot of water in me last night. Am I the only one or do you guys lose a lot of water during the night too?

what do you do? poo in your sleep?

That's about right. Sweat, vapour that you breath out, i always wake up for a piss at some point

i can go to sleep weighing close to 215, wake up 208-210, and i dont wake up during night to piss/poo, and nor am i wet when i wake up, the craziest thing was, once i went to bed as 208, woke up at 215, no idea how:p

I also lose on average 5 lbs nightly, no idea were.
265 before bed 260 a.m. No bathroom break and no sweaty sheets, like someone shaved it off but with no scares, I can find anyway?

Whoa , must of found a time machine in dream land or something

My weight never really fluctuates unless its the first week starting a cut. I think I probably lose a pound though just from pissing. I can pretty much weigh myself 10 times per day and be within 1 pound the whole time.

When im on a cycle I lose about the same 3-5lbs. I wake up and feel lean as hell and dry, sometimes its pretty cool. But not if your bulking. LOL I slam 30-40 protein shake before bed and it seems to help sometimes. Add sex into the mix and I lose more!

It happens with me sometimes. I've been taking a higher dose of amino's, and protein before sleep and it helps alot.

From Discovery Health:

The main thing that is changing overnight is the amount of water in your system. It's amazing how much water weighs! A gallon of water weighs 8 pounds, and a pint of water (16 ounces) weighs 1 pound (in metric, 1 liter of water weighs 1 kilogram). This means that if you drink a 1-liter bottle of soda, you instantly gain 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) from the water! That's a big weight change, and it can happen very quickly.

Overnight, there are two processes that cause you to lose water gradually. The first is respiration. Each time you exhale, you lose a little bit of water (exhale onto a cool piece of glass and you can see this moisture). The second is transpiration through the skin, also known as sweating. Over the course of a night, both of these processes eliminate quite a bit of water.

Then there is the tradition of using the restroom prior to the morning weigh-in. That process can eliminate up to 1 pound (0.5 kilograms) of water.
According to this water information page, the average person eliminates about 1.2 liters of water in urine each day, and also eliminates about 1 liter a day through perspiration and respiration. That's 2.2 kilograms (almost 5 pounds) of weight fluctuation happening throughout the day!

You may have heard that it's important to drink about eight glasses of water every day. Respiration, transpiration and urination are the reasons why!

I think mostly lost in respiration. T
