Almond Butter vs. Natty PB

I love all nut butters, but peanut butter is my absolute favorite. Perfect way to mask pea protein isolate BTW.


Lectins be damned, I love the stuff, so if I will remain forever 2% fatter because of it, then you'll see my fat ass in the grocery store buying all the peanut butter that you guys are passing up.

I did grow to like almond butter too, but my first and only love will be for peanut butter. PS don't tell my girl. PPS don't tell my dog.

I have a few pounds of Pea protein and it is nasty as shit, do you just throw a tbsp or 2 of peanut butter or almond butter in the shake with it?

I think FutureFreak mentioned in his "stop ruining your entire prep" thread the reasons why he prefers almond over natty PB for filling out in the final hours... I can't remember the reasons but they were slightly scientific... Frankly I love both

Well Shelby Recommends Natural Peanut Butter so I think I will go with him on this one!

I have a few pounds of Pea protein and it is nasty as shit, do you just throw a tbsp or 2 of peanut butter or almond butter in the shake with it?

What I do is put the powder in a bowl and mix in just enough unsweetened almond milk to mix it into a pudding like consistency. Mix PB or a sweetener in with it (LBAs are good) and you've got a pretty tasty concoction. At least my taste buds enjoy it

That's a damn good idea, gonna try that.
