One of my biggest issues with competitive bodybuilding over the last 5-10 years has been the age of top pros - most are 35-40-years-old. There were very few young guys at the top, and that, combined with classic physique, has seen less young guys pursuing bodybuilding.
We finally got young guys at the top the last few years, but now they're leaving - Dallas McCarver passing away, now Sandoe's passing, and Josh Lenartowicz announcing his retirement this week.
It just sucks all the way around.
