Friends please be careful...

FYI there was a thread while back I think guys who saw an improvement in blood work from astragalus used vitamin shoppe brand other brands didn't give the same results.

Curious, how does winny rank for being kidney safe? Is it similar to var tren or considered "safer" like test and nand?

Blood pressure is the least of my concerns

Between my Lisinopril, amlodipine, cialis, beet root, and high doses of citrulline, I don’t really ever think about it

More concerned regarding cardiac and hepatic effects
why amplodine still and how long have you been on it? I was on that for 30 days post hospital for kidneys/rhabdo/dialysis/and all kinds of other complications

Dante also instructed me to buy a certain strain of mushrooms which he said is imperative to run also for kidneys

ill have to search IG messages and pull it up but this one I have hardly researched and It wasn't cheap or abundant when i looked for brands

new science!

went in for nebivolol

doctor said i would have to see cardiologist to get a script for that

but he could prescribe me CCB, so we went with amlodipine

been on it for a couple months

Fucking outrageous

Pretty sure a nurse practitioner wrote my first nebivolol script

I honestly don't know what this whole fight is about...

No one is forcing or forbidding anyone to take trenbolone, whether in small or large doses - everyone has their own mind and makes choices in their lives and no one should moralize anyone or tell them what to do
Agree

Cordyceps I think.

Cordyceps I think.

I don't really know how to interpret this, because I'm not familar with a lot of the terms used but it appears to be inflammation related. 100mg a day of dried weight Cordyceps militaris was used against placebo.

There are counter studies to this one as well just FYI

So at the moment, it might be a question mark? I can't tell.

he's a bit of an ass hat
I get changing doctors is a pain, but your doctor is on another level. Especially after reading his/her responses to your health concerns but wouldn’t help until you sought help for your AAS addiction. Like WTF???

I lack any type of patience, so I’d collect my records, tell that doctor personally to fuck off, and head down the road to a new one.

Cage

Guys will inject themselves with grams of gear, but they think a BP med or beta blocker will cause long term health issues. Hear it all the time- “I don’t want to take a BP med, it will hurt my kidneys.” Or “a beta blocker will hurt my workouts and zap my energy.”

Fast forward years later they have kidney issues bc they didn’t take BP meds while on grams of gear. 🤷‍♂️

It’s a lack of education, Dr. Google and just pure stupidity IMO.
Both of those statements are actually true though. ARBs/ACE inhibitors can cause kidney harm, and we even have had guys put on emergency dialysis because of them who are lucky to be alive:

Beta blockers do have to be taken away from a training session because they reduce effort & sympathetic tone, drive; and some are too long-acting to effectively do this.

What I see is far too little regard for the risks of ARBs/ACE-i drugs & beta blockers and people promoting them as a prophylactic (a preventive cure-all).

Not everyone who uses AAS becomes hypertensive and nobody who is not hypertensive should use these drugs.

I'm a big fan of Dante, I believe that his DC training methods are not only outstanding and influential for a reason, but what people should refer to rather than in vogue voluminous training methods to advance & progress from intermediate/advanced.

However, his recommendations about taking nutritional supplements (e.g., cordyceps) to treat or prevent medical conditions is not something he should be doing. Lest we forget John Meadows who relied on advice of this sort from people like, and probably including Dante but passed away, more likely than not, due to an overreliance on these Tips & Tricks rather than medicine.

Dante has a clear conflict of interest when speaking about anything in the dietary/nutritional supplement scope since he profits from the sale of nutritional supplements: therefore, you should not weigh his advice as that which originates from an impartial source. His statements regarding this topic are biased strongly by his sales interests.

If you can back this up, i’m all ears

But the fact that the qualifier “more likely than not” exists in your statement means you don’t know.

Unclear why you’d choose this argument

How so ?

Not sure when John started working with Serrano, but I’d definitely imagine Dr. Serrano had him on the relevant medications for his issues rather than just using supps recommended by Dante
