How many % of bodybuilders go in debt trying to turn pro? What do you guys think?

I'm not in debt and will go pro in 2-3 years

Many will be broke and have nothing to show for it. I know that one pro who gained a BUNCH of attention even before he turned pro had to file for bankruptcy a couple years before turning pro and was homeless for a while. He talked to me about this but said at the time he was very determined to turn pro and just did what he had to do even if it meant going into massive debt. In my opinion its not worth it for a pro card....I dont care how good you are.

never understood why you couldnt have a real job, ex. coleman; cop, dugdale; family business, henry; military, dim; a couple max muscle stores. to really soley on a sport where only the top few % make any money is plain dumb. at the very least you could maintain some sort of health insurance cause if your shooting for the ifbb god knows your gonna need it

lol jesus...anal warts? lol you scard me for life! I think if you can open your own business and make money on it that is the only way to go for bodybuilding! That way you can make your own sch. and stick by it!

I never thought about this before. That is sad to think that people will go into debt trouble.
