My diet right now at this point is high protein (about 400-450 grams per day, about 70 grams per meal x 6 meals) low carbs (about 100 per day, 50 morning and 50 post workout) on Weds and Saturdays I have a higher carb day (about 250-300 for the day, spread evenly at each meal) ...Fats are low, im not really adding in any healthy fats right now...but, as it gets closer and if I need to lower my carbs more I will add them in...
Cardio is alot right now...Im doing about 2 hours a day...sometimes more...LOL !!! I try to do 45-60 mins first thing in the morning...Then about 45-60 mins after a workout ( I have been hitting the gym 6 days a week, split my body up 6 ways) then at night if I have energy I will do another 30 mins...I know that seems like over kill, but it seems to be working right now... I dont think im losing muscle and my strengh is good...I do it all on the treadmill at a 7.5 incline going about 2.5 mph's ....Not to fast, so I think thats why im not buring up muscle....I alway's eat a protein meal right after I finsh a workout or cardio session...I'll back off on the cardio, when I feel I can, but for now I think I'll keep doing it until I feel im ready...
