Thanks concreteguy!! Well I was so fed up of looking like that and I was tired of trying to lean up and not getting the results I wanted. So I was ready to do whatever it took to get my fat but in shape. LOL. Basically Alex took the approach as if we were dieting for a show, so that was a big change to my training and diet. When Alex gave me my program I ran with it. We talked tons but but I didn't need him to push me. As the results came it motivated me more and more. We were just getting started so I could have made even more improvements if it wouldn't have been for my back injury. I was blown away with what Alex and I were able to do in that time frame.
 
Got good news today! My Doc has released me to get back at it. The shot worked great, no pain at all now. I still have to take it easy for awhile but atleast I can start making forward progress again:D

Hell yes!! Great news man....From experience...take her slow and steady at first. Build your way back. Herniating my disc somewhat helped my training ...well, helped by focusing on better form. It really helped me focus on mind/muscle connection, a concentrate on the negative part of the rep.

Hey Jcagle, yeah I was stoked when he said your good to go. Trust me going to take it real slow steady for awhile. Been doing some really light work so far to see how it feels and so far its good. Your right it helps you to focus even more. Just being back in the gym at any level is so much better than laying flat on my back on the floor.
 
Thats very impressive man, look completely different and definitely packed on some muscle....alex really just knows how to get the job done....he dialed me in for my show better than i could have possibly imagined. Keep it up man.

Thanks Ith! Yeah Alex definitely knows his stuff. You can't ask for a more supportive and easy guy to talk too.
 
Progress pic

Here's a new pic taken last week, weighing 239. Been training hard but very careful at the same time. Back has been doing very well. With Alex's guidance we've been able to move forward and make some good gains. Can't thank Alex enough for all his help and support to help me forward again!!:D
