She didnt do as well as she liked. They went with harder, leaner girls. I actully thought she was lean enough, just not as dry as she couldve been. She placed 6th out of 10 girls. So for first time in bikini, she did ok...she is now getting ready to do the state show, then if she gets her NQ go on to Jr.Nationals...We made alot of mistakes for this first show, but now we know and will improve on that...overall I was happy with what she did in the short amount of time she really dieted...

thanks guys...she worked really hard for this past show. Even with her workload and the amount of stress she deals with at work. She really put all out effert into the show

i think with what we learned from this past show, the state show will be much easier to get leaned up...

I agree, mike...but she wants to give this a shot...I know if she doesnt do as well as she likes at state, im sure she will go back to figure...

Chris I think she needs to lose another 7 to 10lbs. The girls that win bikini are almost always skinny/muscular and have tiny legs. She's really pretty, so I think if she takes off the needed weight, she will do very well.

Bikini is a very subjective class. At some shows they are looking for the leaner more muscular girls and in other shows they will go for the chunky monkey. I was in two shows last year in bikini, the first show they were aiming toward big ass fake titties and lean look, at my second show the top two girls looked like they had never seen a gym in their life. For women, with all these new classes, the judging is ALL over the board! If she wants to win, tell her to just sign up with the bombshell squad.
Also, if she does any side bends, or weighted side bends, tell her to cut it out, her waist is a bit wide. I also agree with Q.
She should switch to figure.
