I took this pic yesterday at the gym, I will be 6 weeks out on Saturday.

My bodyweight hasn't moved at all but I feel that I'm getting leaner. Any input is welcome.

agree ,abs look great and in the next 6 weeks you will harden up even more.
 
DB, The obvious is the incredible width of your back you almost look like a Manta Ray from the rear. The leaner that you come in the freakier your V-taper is going to look. I also think that you have a lot of thickness in your chest and front delts. Once again this will be a huge strong point when lean because your delts will look like a couple of Canteloups. You have a great shape and in a good way a potentialy freaky v-taper. Pound those Quads and Hammies with everything you got for these last 6 weeks, get lean (which I know you will do) and you my friend will have one hell of a physique to display at your show.
 
You tighten up alot since last pictures, keep doing what you are doing and come in your best! Look Good!!

That means a lot comming from a great athlete like yourself, I will do, I have to really dig down deep and get a few more squats and SL deads when I think I've had enough. I appreciate it Tony.

I don't have a goal so to speak, but I plan on being a Lt. Heavy, I'm just a bit over 200lbs now. I was a small lt. heavy last year, this Year I plan on being a lot heavier in the same division. Yes that is a pec tear, it's not as bad as it was, the gap was much bigger when I first got it back in 1994. But I took a 7 year layoff and this is my second year back, it seems to be improving, whether it's possible or not.

Thanks Chris! Well you know that you left a tough act to follow from when you won the Heavyweight class at the Continental, this years is going to be pretty stacked, I already know of two nationally ranked lt. heavys doing the show from my gym alone.

I will do, I was inspired watching your contest prep closely, you did great and had a very successful plan. I will just do my best and definately give it my all.


I appreciate all of the kind feedback, it really helps when that lonely, wornout feeling starts to set in. But I've been fighting it off this year inspite of this crappy weather we've been having in Chicago.

Whats your height and Weight ?

5-10" 205 or so. I started at the same height at 118lbs I used to box in the bantamweight divison.
So eventhough 205 doesn't seem like much if feels like a lot to me.

For back, I do weighted pullups and heavy barbell rev. grip rows, nothing pretty nor fancy just the basics. Thanks btw, Sadie, I'm a big fan of your physique, very muscular yet feminine.

You look WAY Bigger than 205.

Would have guess 225 - 230

Keep doing what your doing because its working great.
