I'm 48, and never done a show. I started lifting again after a long hiatus in Oct 09, with a goal of doing a show(red river classic) in Oct 2010. I'm currently 7 weeks out, 9%bf, 5'9" and 198.5lbs(down from 217lbs 9 weeks ago) and have been dieting for 8 weeks, with 7 to go.
My questions, as a newbie are many of course. I know I have weak areas, but since I've never dieted down before this is the first time I've ever seen a few of the weak areas.
I would like some basic feedback in the form of recommendations to do the show or not. I know I can get to 3% as fast as the weight has been falling off. Genetically I'm not gifted in the quad ham department, I kill them every way possible and in the end they are what they are.
