ANNOYING HEARTBEAT IN EAR MOTHER F'ER

Im about to start fucking smashing walls and breaking down doors if i cant get this sorted out. For 2 weeks now ive heard and felt my heart beat in my left ear. It is the most annoying fucking thing I have ever experienced and I really need some advice before i fucking flip out.

Thanks

Could be high blood pressure. Also common in patients with heart conditions.
Another possiblity is an ear infection.

Hoof beats..

agreed - stole the below off the web:

Pulsatile tinnitus is a disorder when you experience the noise sound with the heart beat and you may perceive it as a heartbeat.
It has been found that this happens when the blood flow in the vessels near the ear alter. These vessels may be large arteries and veins in the neck and base of the skull and smaller ones in the ear itself. This may happen when blood flow in the body increases like it does during exercise or anemia. It may also happen when some of the blood vessels narrow, so the surrounding vessels need to carry more blood and this increased flow causes the noise or if arteries harden and blood does travel smoothly as it usually does and this turbulent flow may cause the noise.
You should address a doctor about this and have some proper exams. They would perform hearing tests, check blood vessels, and probably order some sort of imaging tests like an ultrasound, mri, ct scan, mra, etc
Your treatment would depend on the cause.

Of course, this, and others mentioned COULD be the issue, would never deny that... but in medicine, we have a saying "When you hear hoofbeats, first think horses, not zebra's."

Pop your ears first, a few times, see what happens... if things still persist, then take it further in examination. I just went through this for a couple weeks... was miserable man... I talked with the Attending's at work "Pop it! Pop it!" they said! hahaha... I finally manned up and did it several times... no more heart beat, or ear congestion.

If you feel dizzy or off balance probably water. If not then I would assum high bp.

Like what was mentioned, it could also be high blood pressure causing a pulsating sound. Maybe try some aspirin to see if it makes any difference..or like myosin said, could be related to an ear infection/fluid. You should check your BP imo tho

Yep, I was going to say that. I would look at BP first and then of course maybe the ear infection possibility. It could be a combo of both.

ive tried to pop it, it wont

went to the Dr. Unfortunately he seemed like a idiot, said there is lots of fluid and its a little red. gave me antibiotics and a nasal spray.

I cant wait to keep going back and telling them nothing worked.

BP was 134/92

I should have warned you...

ive tried to pop it, it wont

My fault, I knew I should have told you it could be quite difficult depending on how swollen and/or how much fluid is there, sorry...

I tried SEVERAL times, pushing VERY hard... almost passed out a couple of times, seriously, after about 30 MINUTES I finally got... it get's easier each time.. you can try this...

1) deep breath, slow hard push, relax, then do it again (instead of one large "hard" push)...

2) again, go in a hot shower for awhile and then try #1

Really, I feel SOOO much better.

I'll do that tonight, cause i cant stand this. thanks man

LOL, okay.....I had the same problem for 3 weeks. I took mucinex d twice a day, rinsed nasal cavities, and sprayed all kinds of shit up my nose because it IS fluid in your ear period. I told my wife I was going to shoot myself in the head because it was literally driving me insane. She researched on the internet and came back and told me this.

My hurt ear was the right ear.....so she said tilt your head where the hurting ear is upward....straight up facing the ceiling....pinch your nose and gently start blowing........ill be damn.....pop.......shit started feeling better. Not 100% right away but 70%. Then I waited another 20 minutes and did it again and it was cured. This was after pinching my nose and blowing while looking forward with no relief. I swear tilt your head and let me know if it worked......

You can thank me later!

Could also be wax buildup. Ive had the same thing.

didnt work the first time but i felt something, like it almost popped. Ill try again in like 30 minutes. thanks for the reply ill update!

I have only had this a few times. It's when I have taken a cialis tab and my gf is dressed as a playboy schoolgirl so I am not gonna stop that combination anytime soon!

Slightly similar

I have had that sound in my ear for years, it is fucking annoying, another I'm experincing now is when I do lay down at night, my veins in my arms get huge and feel like my skin is on fire, when sitting upon couch or laying proped up do not experience this problem to the severity when I lay down, I actually feel like my body temp shoots up, using 100AD w/Sus250 @ 750mg, but have never experienced this in the past on that gear. And have a lipid panel done recently everything is within normal, even my BP is good, it never gets high. By nature I am very vascular but its bearable, but when I lay down WTF?

It's been mentioned above so thought I would add that if you suffer from vertigo try Gingko Biloba. It can make you feel strange at first but once your body adapts you will be fine.
