I guess it’s just me but I think some of these guys get hurt because they train to heavy. The ones that get hurt outside the gym which happens fairly often is because people aren’t meant to carry that kind of muscle mass. We don’t bend well so we tend to break, because with that muscle mass most people are not very pliable.

Shit sucks. I'm 9 weeks post op. First 6 weeks are hell.

Tore both biceps at different times and recovered fully to compete. As long as it is surgically repaired before the tendon starts scarring up, which might prevent it being reattached properly. Definitely not career ending for most.
