Plan to go - Just checked a few hotels listed on the arnold website and they do have availability. JonnyO if you want PM me and I will tell you which hotels said they have vac. First time I'll be going. Hope it is worth the trip.

The Westin Columbus is the only place downtown with rooms available I found. Otherwise you'll be pretty far out of town and last thing you want is taking long cab rides everywhere. After checking prices from here it's too much for me right now, I'll save the money for precontest food bills, lol.

just booked a room at the hyatt regency next door to conv

I just booked a room to the hotel next door to the Conv Ctr. I told them I was supposed to call this morning and fill in for a cancellation. The assistant was great and booked me for a two night stay. All of their online sources say booked but I think calling and looking for a cancellation might help. I stayed at Times Sq on New Years one year by calling the hotels the day before looking for cancellations.
