Anyone familiar with gyms in rutherford New Jersey?

Im living in Secaucus New Jersey, not too knowledgable with area as yet. I am looking for a better, more bodybuilding oriented gym than the one Im at now. Someone told me there was a good harder core gym around Rutherford which is about 15 mins from Secaucus. Its a long shot but maybe someone can help. Thanks in advance...peace

Google Strong and Shapley Gym.... It is in Rutherford and one of the most hardcore gyms you can find. The owner is Bob Bonham and has been involved in the sport for many years

njmuscle - thanks bro, yeah I googled the area and I saw strong and shapely with Bob Bonham but without a reccomendation did not know what it was about. Thanks I will get over there, you the man...

Strong and Shapely is without a doubt one of the most hardcore gyms on the coast.

Signature is in the area too, and not too bad.

If you're looking to workout solo with no interruptions, Atlantis in Secaucus, in harmon meadows is vacant 90% of the time. Lots of great hammer strength equipment and plenty of free weights to go around. That was my favorite place to workout in, as I always had the place to myself.

Then theres Classics in lyndhurst. I didnt care for it.

I would go strong and shapely or atlantis, depending on what your looking for.

Jersey gyms

I like Bodywork Hardcore Fitness in Patterson and Plaza Fitness in Bloomingfeld, NJ High REp gym in Hawthorne...Diamond Gym in Maplewood... I have not been to Lion's den gym, Fairfield NJ..

I guess Jersey is the place for hardcore gyms?

s and s is what you are probably looking for. I used to live in secaucus and lyndhurst and went to strong and shapely. When the dumbbells go up to 250lbs you're in a pretty hardcore gym. I live too far now so I have to use NYSC.

If you wanna be motivated and feel like you really need to up your intensety then go to either strong and shapely or diamond gym bro. You cant go wrong in those two gyms. Every time i head up there to visit a few friends they are the two I hit.
