Humalog Mix50. Anyone with experience?

Hey guys. I recently just got Humalog Mix50, not realizing it wasn't straight Humalog.

Has anyone ever used it? If you used it IM verses SubQ, did it behave more similarly to Humalog?

The information online is very limited. Phrasing a search 2 ways provided 2 different results, even from Google's AI. (This is regarding the lispro protamine duration/blood levels)
 
I wouldn't use it at all nbut if you have to I would give it to a pre-workout meal 60-80 minutes before training some intra-carbs during training and a normal meal after training. I would also set the meals for the rest of the day to have little fat and some carbs because the actual time of perceived activity will be about 10 hours.

Do you think this graph changes based on IM vs SubQ administration?

In my experience generally administering insulin IM vs. SubQ doesn't change much - in the case of humalog the peak occurs about 10-15 minutes earlier when administered IM compared to SubQ - it would be different if you administered it directly intravenously
 
I had a sponsor send me some once as they were out of humalog and thought it would suffice. I trashed it after a week. It was very unpredictable and personally am not a fan.
 
I had some 8 months ago. Like above said it's unpredictable. Haven't used it since. Regular humalog is great.
