when i get drunk if and i think of good food i usually fall of the keto wagon, my brain tells me i cant resist those pankackes, anybody else get this or can you stay stong dieting when you drink, kinda like when you smoke weed its hard to stay on the diet

Thats why you cut out drinking when you are on a diet if you have no self controll.
 
lol, I don't drink haven't had a drink in over 4 years now.

Why? because training is important to me. Even when I was drunk I had the mental capacity to have a MRP shake instead of "pancakes".

So many mentally weak people out there these days.

Alcohol actually kills my appetite, but its still such empty calories.

The three things that catch my attention:
1) get drunk = bad choice
2) good food=pancakes=wrong choice unless diet is on the mark and it's a cheat meal.
3) smoke weed= your going to go far
I am sure a few have been there during their lives, but this is all wrong for a post on the PM site. It's the opposite of what everyone is trying to accomplish here. Man up and move past your old ways. And become a better you. Other than them apples, good luck to ya.

Well I'll step up and say yes..Wed night I'm decide to have a few drinks and this lead to me in a fight with the wife and me taking off..I walk about 3 miles and get a taxi..Next thing I know I'm in Tijuana 50 miles from home visiting the night clubs bu myself..Not a great idea as it a rough place to be by yourself..You not only have to watch the hombres but the crocked cops to..So it's about 5 pm the next day and i'm still drinking beer and tequila and haven't eaten in about 48 hrs as Wed I had went in for blood test and had to fast the evening before that (TUES). Next thing i know I'm in handcuffs and being taken around the corner to be relieved of my cash..This results in me resisting and ending up in a TJ jail..Anyways after several hrs of being sprayed with cold water, My money gone they kick me out and leave me in the middle of nowhere to find my way home without any money..Yep they got me for about $400.

Now I'm home and go to bed..Yesterday I was so hungry that I ate whatever I could..Oh by the way sometimes it takes unusual things to get a person to wake up and decide that it's time to stop drinking..Thurs was my last day after a 30 yr off and on binge.

WTF? Thats terrible, man. Glad to hear your okay now. Sucks that stuff like that goes on. I live right by the border but have never crossed it because of horror stories like this.
 
ok i guess it was a stupid remark, i just get weak with food when i have an occasional couple drinks, you can delete the thread
 
MAN IT HAPPENS BRO I EAT CLEAN ALL WEEK ON THE WEEKEND I NEED A DRINK FROM ALL THE HARD WORK AT MY JOB THEN STRAIGHT TO THE GYM AND KILLING MYSELF THERE EVERYDAY! I HAVE A FEW DRINKS AND EAT A LIL DIRTYER LIKE MEXICAN FOOD BUT ONLY MEALS LIKE FAGITA'S OR SOMETHING WITH MEAT. BUT U NEVER SEE ME EATING WHOPPERS AND FRIES.
 
Drinking is falling off the dieting bandwagon!
 
PLEASE!!!! I know plenty of competitors that diet and drink. Might not make sense, but people are people and live life regardless. Sometimes these boards make me laugh. I know everyone on a bodybuilding board eats 6 (clean) meals a day with 300gm protein, never skips a training session, only does 250mg Test E a week, and gets plenty of rest and hydration.

Some of you can disagree, and thats OK. Afterwards I'm going to the bar and then out to IHOP---->That strawberry syrup is da bomb! Your welcome to meet me there. :D

My buddy was a weight class higher than me we both won our class and he took the overall. We kept in close touch throughout our preps and while i was eating my clean meals and training twice a day missing out on every social function there was, he was out doin meth, getting drunk, snorting ritalin, and won the damn overall competiton. Im not sure theres a point to this but.....
