have you tried 5HTP? I know a few people including myself that have ditched the pharms and went with 5HTP instead. Try it for a week man, its cheap and works wonders on mood and life perception.

How do you dose it? Does it noticeable elevate mood? And also ive heard it has sleep benefits .. any notice?

I was on 50mg of zoloft for a while, wasn't training or anything at the time.

Did not gain any weight. But myself and my friends noticed a dramatic change in my mood (for the better). Overall felt awesome, but missing doses or deciding to just stop taking it = bad news bears.

I myself take Lexapro and have had no issues with weight gain.
I know that Wellbutrin another SSRI has a bit of a stimulant effect and has less effect of weight gain

I was on it about 5 years ago. Overall my wellbeing was incredible. It was like nothing could stress me out or make me angry. Bad sides I had was I put on about 6 kgs of fat/fluid. Made me look really fluffy. But the worst was the uncontrollable sleep that I needed. I was sleeping for about 14 hours a day. i couldnt control it I would just fall alseep, hence the reason I got off it asap. It is good if you have depression but if these sides happen I wouldnt recommend it. It was like I was sleeping my llife away

What's your dosage? I didn't touch the Paxil...instead I went with 50mgs of 5htp before bed. It works great.

Somewhere between 6-7 months.

I think the weight gain/weight loss that you may experience (if you do at all) with SSRI's isn't going to effect you as much as it might with the average (non-BBer, non-athletic) person. I wouldn't worry about it too much!

Zoloft is one of the most effective ssri meds. I have been on it for 12 years. It is a life changer
