Turkey Hunters on here….?

A little grainy but he’s got great colors and looks pretty big. That’d be a great take. I know where I’d be morning of the 25th, that’s pretty late season opener. You live on your land you hunt?

The heaviest Tom we have taken in 15 seasons turkey hunting in Southern Ontario is 26 pounds. We are blessed to Deer and Turkey Archery hunt several private bush lot type properties about 1.2 hours from home.

That’s awesome I’ve never gotten to hunt Canada or even see the back country. I have partied in downtown Toronto in the early 2000s, crazy partying. I’d trade it all for a back country whitetail hunt let alone a shot at Moose, caribou, it’s an amazing country as far as land goes. I’m surprised Trudeau hasn’t made hunting near impossible. My foray Into Turkey is new and I love it! It ain’t antler or horn but it’s so fun, like the elk of birds. I kinda got ruined bc my turkey I took my first Spring out was a monster bird almost like taking a big 12 point (6x6) whitetail your first hunt, I coukd hunt turkey another 10 years and no best my opening day birds of first hunt. Still 2 weeks left in most southern states I’m hoping to get lucky and snag another set of breasts for the smoker and spurs for the rear view.
