I dont think thier is any difference, would prob depend on company, I would think some would purposley add glucose atleats.

thanks.i cannot see there being any real big dif...as they shouldn't be secretly adding anything as per it is for infants..

Me - I be a cheap SOB. I'll bet it costs a fair bit more money to get your yams this way. I just buy whole yams, cook in microwave and weigh-out portions on a food scale.

Babyfood is cooked until it is almost vaporized, then mashed into a superfine paste so that toothless babies and very old men can enjoy it. I imagine this would increase the GI of the sweet potato a bit..??
On a side note, I had some sweet potato fries at a restaurant this week. Not healthy, but damned good.
