right now im doing 2iu a day, im going to do this in the am b4 breakfast on off days , and pwo on wo days.................when i move up to 4ius, im going to do 4ius in morning on off days, and 2ius pre and 2ius post on wo days..........

is this a good plan? or should i maybe split the 4 into 2 morning 2 night on off days? .............i started just doing the 2 pre bed, but ive read so many conflicting things, some say its fine, others say it interferes with nightime pulse..............ive also read the myth your body only pulses gh while you sleep is bunk................so thats what ive come up with, let me know what ya think, im no expert here

lol sounds like were both in the same boat here... theres so many different opinions on when to take GH.

Whats your goal from the GH though? fatloss? or muscle growth?

If it is muscle growth i think its safe to say the consensus is to take all of it post work out.

for fatloss, i personally take 5iu in the morning as of now. From the research i've done on this board it seems there are pro's and cons to morning versus nighttime dosing of GH:

MORNING DOSING:
pro's: Body is in an active state, which is useful because it will help it to use more FFA's (released from the GH) as fuel.
cons: during the day is the time in which we consume all our food. How does this affect fatloss? For FFA release, GH must be present in the absense of insulin, and carbs as we know raises insulin levels. Also, what about fats? More fat intake would simple add to the liberated FFA's floating around, causing them to simply be stored once again in adipose tissue.

NIGHTTIME DOSING:
pro's: No food intake during this time, creating an optimal environment for GH to release FFA's. Also, our highest natural pulse of GH occurs at night, perhaps there is a reason our body chooses to do this?
cons: inactive state - will not burn as many FFA's as fuel as if one were awake. Also, being in such an inactive state, one would think the body would TEND to use FFA's as fuel anyways, as it is a perfect slow-burning energy source.

im no expert but what im hearing is that in order to see muscle growth from GH it needs to be used in higher doses, better yet - with insulin.

But its cool how with your protocol you mix things around, its always good to keep the body guessing, IMO...
 
From what I gather, exo GH shuts down endo GH from 6-24hrs afters administration. Therefore, if you take it right before you go to sleep, your body will produce endo GH for about 6 hours (not bad, about 75% of your sleep time). By the time 24hrs pass, you are back at bedtime.

Taking GH right before bed mimics the pulse release of endo gh and has a limited impact on the amount you naturally produce.
 
thats what i was reading, that your body makes gh when it needs it, not always at sleep.............it seems there are just as many on both sides of the fence, so it really doesnt matter when you take it,lol

unless i could find a concrete study that one is better than the other, night vs morning, which i cant , all i can find is opinions, no hard data
