Best Way to Bulk This Off Season for Cycling??

Hey everyone! First time posting here. Quick into:

32 years old
Competing next week and again in 4 weeks.
Then next show won't be until November 2015.

So, that gives me about a year to bulk up before going into contest prep mode again. I want to take some time off of gear from my current prep (12 weeks at least) and then start bulking.

Question is, would it be better to do one bigger bulking cycle then take some time off and get into prep mode or would it be better to do two smaller cycles?

Just trying to maximize my gains this off season and plan ahead.

I'll come off my precontest cycle and do either Option A or Option B.

Option A
18 weeks off
15 weeks on
18 weeks off
Contest Cycle

or

Option B
10 weeks off
10 weeks on
8 weeks off
10 weeks on
10 weeks off
Contest Cycle

Not sure which protocol would provide me the maximum gains? Option B does have me on for longer but could I benefit from a longer break in between precontest cycles?
 
You plan on staying off all
Hormones in your "off" stages or just cruising? That makes a difference I would that. Huge hormonal roller coaster if you're coming completely off, pct'ing, then on again in 6-8 weeks. I'd say cruise, and have like an 18-24 week "cycle", then cruise for a bit and start your prep. Gives you time to solidify your gains on a cruise and not completely come off.

There a few variables to consider when trying to add mass. My1st suggestion would be to eat. Eat until you hate eating and then eat some more :D

The other variables:
Training method
Supplementation

The gear part of the equation is usually the easiest. Test as a base, then you have your choice of deca, tren, eq, and then dbol or adrol for an oral. Adding slin is another option that can yield good results during a bulk. Cruising in between your blast cycles isnt a bad idea either.
