I doubt it's a joke. There are MANY bills that are completely unconstitutional that are in process right now. Look through the media and try to see the REAL reasons why they broadcast what they do. They are toying with us so that we focus on the things we don't need to so that they can blindside us with bills that take away our freedoms.

So, if i buy a nice farm house to spend my summers in, IM NOT ALLOWED TO GROW MY OWN ORGANIC FOOD THERE.

these type of threads almost always get multiple page responses and are always enjoyable. as long as the discussion content is intelligent and rerspectful these posts should be allowed to continue. nobody and i mean nobody goes to the discuss world issues forum and extremely important vital information is lost.

I'm just sharing what I have read in the past about organic foods. Do I think that you are going to live longer and be more healthy from Organic foods, no I do not. Statistically you do have more of a chance to become sick from organic foods.

I buy my fruit at the grocery store....not organic. HOWEVER, I would chose a fresh-grown apple off of my grandfathers trees over any store-bought apple any day. They taste better, they are fresh, they are without any pesticides. But really...who cares whether or not one chooses organic or not?! The fact is that we deserve the right TO CHOOSE! What needs to be focused on are those instances where the government is violating our rights and The Constitution. They have been trashing our rights for years, but it's all happening A LOT faster now. They are also being much bolder about it. The stupidity of the general population is evident as they successfully brainwash the majority. These are sad and scary times...

Why does Obama catch all this crap when Bush actually was taking away our rights over the last 8 years with such things as the Patriot Act and illegal wire taps? Every day now I see something more ominous developing in the US. What happend to power of the people? Im sure if the people were allowed to vote on this we would all vote it down. Instead big agriculture has snuck it through and it may pass congress withoout the public even knowing. i had heard nothing of this. This should be on the top of the news on every channel's evening news show! I am appaled.

If certain news outlets keep making bills out to be really bad when the reality is they are not bad at all eventually people are going to stop listening to them when none of these horrible things ever come to fruition. Then when some really bad legislation is about to be passed no one will listen to the news outlets and it really will be passed. It will be a classic "boy who cried wolf" situation.
