Blood Coagulates right?

I just did a home draw of about 300ml(was going for 400ml but I got scared lol) and everything worked well. I dumped the syringes into a protien shaker. took a total of about 10-15min. So when I went to dump the blood in the toilet, like half of it turned into jello. Came out in a huge clump. This is normal right?

I almost included pics for all you guys with my wife sitting on the bathroom floor filling up the syringe with blood running down her hand. Ahhhhh true love lol
