BLOOD WORK QUESTION

Hi All,
well i had my blood work come back,testosterone levels were at a whopping 3,541(on a range of 240-800),also estrogen was high(900)-but no gyno.i was prescribed with arimidex(0.5mg. every 3rd. day).been on test enthanate @800mgs./week,deca @ 600mgs./week.and been on gear for over a year(just keep switching it every few months).any suggestions or comments as far as the blood work(everything else checked out ok,liver enzymes were a bit high but oi took the dbol out because of it-i never do orals because of that reason).

How was your RBC's and hematocrit? And why are you on such a high dosage for such a long period? Be careful.

You are wasting all that test if your free test is low and I bet it is.......what is your weight? Are you lean?

How could free test be low on 800mg of test? Also why would him being lean be a factor. This seems very interesting, i'll be excited for your response.

FREE (UNBOUND) TEST CAN BE LOW ON ANY AMOUNT OF TESTOSTERONE. IF HE IS NOT LEAN, I WOULD SUSPECT A LOW FREE TEST LEVEL.....JUST MY OPINION, IF TAKING 800MG WEEKLY.

Thanks for the reply's all,my weight is 249lbs. at 5'11" at about 10-12%bf.(good estimate).it doesnt say whats my free test is,how can i find out?(do i need another blood work?),as far as everything else(RBC,WBC...)-was good.again,estrogen was high also so does that mean that a lot of that test is converted thats why free test is low?-THANKS AGAIN!!

Being lean would work in your favor as far as the oestrogen levels are concerned. Fat, esp around the middle of the body will tend to get your body to produce more oestrogen. And phil is 100% correct about free test. If your free test is low, then you are not getting the benefits os elevated test levels. it simply means your body is not using all that test in your blood. SHBG plays a very crucial part in this. Too much SHBG and you will have very low levels of free test!! So you could be using 1gm a week and it will not mean a thing!! Just more sides!!

I have been reading the thread about BN and HELLA SWOLE and the liver trouble they have had. If you have had high Estro levels for a year it would be a good idea to have a CT scan of your liver. Everything was within ranges when they had blood work done but the liver trouble was building for some time while they stayed on. If they had a scan done they would have found it before surgery was needed. From my reading and the thread it sounds like high Estro levels for long periods lead to liver edoemas. Not trying to start a compare of this thread to that one or highjack. Just be safe and get checked if you are staying on. You already know that you have high Estro levels for how long now. Wouldn't have known that without blood work and won't know about your liver without a scan, they didn't. Be safe and good luck.

Too much estrogen increases shbg. Androgens will lower shbg, including testosterone. With high levels of estrogen and taking that much test you free test may or may not be low only way to know is to test it. Taking the adex will increase free test and lower estro though.

Thank you for that info,what are your thoughts on taking 0.5mg. of arimidex every 3rd. day?(i also have some 10mg. nolvadex,should i add those also?)

^^^ wouldnt Proviron be the King in solving this problem while on cycles? Even on HRT I think im gonna take 25mg proviron spread in 2 doses daily. At that dose I dont see how it cant be benefitial and very safe.

IT IS ONE WAY BUT NOT THE BEST. HOW WOULD YOU MONITOR IT ALSO??? THERE IS AN EASIER WAY BUT I RESERVE THAT FOR MY CLIENTS .......... GIVE IT A SHOT THOUGH. why do you think body lowers shbg when encountered with too high androgen?

low SHBG means shorter half life, means faster metabolism of androgen (you will piss it out faster),,,so is this better?

if body loves androgen so much why is the body trying to get rid of it as fast as it can?

why does SHBG go up with estrogen? maybe the increase in estrogen must mean increased androgen to the body so it renders androgen inactive? to help liver burden? confusing

marooned, you think those guys got trouble from high estrogen only? why was their E so high? probably high amount of aromatizing gear, what makes you think it was just E that causes bad stuff to liver? you dont think its the total amount of cholesterol that is going through your liver that is causing trouble?

what do you guys think of this natural way of body reacting to imbalance of hormone?

i think its no big deal to fock it up eitherway when using short term cycles, but if someone is on HRT or stays on year around or so,,,things are going to get real messy and dangerous.

Yep agreed. You always wanna be in range with estro. Too low will yeild very little muscle growth and a low sex drive and other health problems.
