That reminds me of "Liftathons" that we had in high school just before football season to raise money.
My last squat I had about as many guys that could touch the bar or me help me walk the weight out. When they let go I almost collapsed under the weight but was able to straighten up. The judge called it a good lift. I'm sure it looked alot like that picture!
Very dangerous...reminds of the stupid shit (bad form, too much weight, box squating-landing hard) we use to do when training for football way back in the day.
lmao poor kid, thats a pretty bad program they have they dont even know how to spot. Having a good spot on leg day is crucial especially in hs when form isnt always the best and most havent been lifting for to many years.
i saw a guy lock his knees on a leg press when he had 1000 on it and it folded his legs backwards and a guy was squatting end fell forward smashing his hands on between the bar and the safety rails and cut some of his fingers off

I've been stupid and failed at the bottom on the leg press with around 1000 or so on it. Got lucky it was pretty busy, must have been like 8 guys helping to get it off. It was weird though, you'd think you'd get a big adrenaline surge for something like that, but I was mostly just embarassed off my ass and couldn't even get tight to push, no way was I 8 guys helping past muscular failure.
