That's a great natural IGF-1, especially on metformin.

Yea I don't get it. It seems odd. I heard TRT can raise IGF but that seems high. I'm not complaining though

It's awesome. Only possible downside is reduction in IGF-1 conversion. But that's precisely what makes it have anti cancer properties. Can't have your cake and eat it too, as they say!

What I'd love to see discussed/studied is it's impact on IGF-1 during exo gh at 2-3iu. Just how much of an impact? We not it lowers natural levels but maybe it's less significant when you're talking typical exo doses.

Really? Can you explain that a bit. Everything I've read/heard on it tends to indicate it lowers IGF-1 and/or downregulates this pathway. I'd love that to be true. Maybe myself and others are interpreting wrong?

Maybe what is more accurate to say is that it suppresses the IGF-I receptor signalling pathway, not direct conversion of IGF-1, but wouldn't that still blunt IGF-1s effects (thus the anti cancer effect) ?

Met does indeed lower IGF-1 mainly through its effects on reducing insulin secretion and endogenous testosterone.

with my group these guys are mostly on trt and do some type of exerciser we have not seen anyone of them experience a lowering of IGF1 on metformin therapy.
