Bruising on upper back after every back workout. No pain or discomfort. Thoughts?

I’m not too worried about this honestly but maybe I should be?

I’ve been getting what looks like a bruise on the left side of my upper back. Looks like where the rhomboid minor is. No pain. No discomfort. It doesn’t inhibit me in anyway and I wouldn’t even know it was there if i didn’t see it in the mirror. Shows up after back workout and slowly fades.

Any idea what’s going on? Cause for concern? The only thing I can think of is that I’ve been getting stronger and pushing more weight than I ever have. Staying in the 12-15 rep range. I don’t know if that correlates as I’ve never had this issue any where else.
 
I used to know. I think it's blood taking its time leaving the muscle, because it's still at work. If not that, it's trapped oxygen. Cutler had that going on for c years. Sounds like you're growing too me.
 
Micro tears in the fascia. I used to work out with a guy that his delts chest and back would have all these purple spots after working out and tearing down tissue.
 
I had this once on the lower outer portion of the left side of the traps. I assumed it was a tear as when it stopped bruising there was a noticeable portion of that lower outer part of the trap missing compared to the right side. I had a little discomfort when training but nothing major, just a more extreme version of typical soreness in traps.
 
I get this to varying degrees in my
Shoulders and lats primarily after/during some workouts. No clue wtf it is from. I half wonder if it’s somehow related to nattokinase / thin blood.

I’m not getting any extra soreness or pain. Wife says everything looks symmetrical. I don’t feel like it’s a tear. The bruising does go away before the next back session and everything feels healthy. It’s just the appearance (bruising) that had me wanting to get some opinions from you guys. I figured it’s better to be safe than sorry since the issues with my femur is looking like it’s more than a simple strain. Hopefully not, MRI is in a few days.

It never impacted anything I did, just produced extra soreness. I haven't felt it in about a year and I still train back the same way I have for years.
 
I used to get this years ago on the shoulders/traps area. I think it’s just related to the “trauma” from the tearing of muscle fibers, maybe ruptured micro vessels from the stress of lifting. I would say if there’s no pain/no signs of underlying injury I wouldn’t worry about it.
