Bursitis elbow

I have had it now for weeks. I have been putting ice on it and wrapping and using bio freeze. Does anyone else have any issues with this?

How did you decide it was bursitis as opposed to a number of other things?

I had it for about a week but it might have been a spider bite, no idea.

My Dr decided it was bursitis. But he wanted the old let me give you a cortisone shot and here take all this ibuprofen. I was curious if anyone else had any remedies that have used.

If your bursa sac is full then you probably need to stop what ever is aggravating it for the most part. Not the answer you are looking for but most likely the best solution.

I had it awhile back and it took about 6 months for it to fully go away. I had to back off direct arm exercises and anything that aggravated it.

Same here.. took 4 mos or so to go away I stopped training anything that aggravated it.. could train bi's for a bit but it went away.

If it ever happens again Im going to try BP157 and TB500

Had it in early 2000s, used to wear elbow sleeves which helped a lot with the pain...then had a full tear in the same tricep, and it must have bust the sac because it disappeared quickly.

I have the same problem, bursitis in BOTH elbows. Bursitis is inflammation of the bursa sac and the only real way to properly treat it is with ice and rest.

My doc prescribed me Voltaren. It's a topical NSAID that worked pretty well for me after about three weeks of continuous use combined with daily icing.

I know it sucks but the only way is to take some time off to allow your body to heal.
