Can I Test my hCG ?

This may not be the best thread for this, but....
I read a post about checking your IGF-1LR3 with a home pregnancy test to make sure it wasn't hCG. So I thought I would check my hCG to see if it was the real stuff.
I have been SC injecting 250iu EOD for two weeks now and thought I would try it. Results were negative.
I have been on TRT for 8 months now, the last two months on T Cyp at 100mg per week. I wanted to add hCG to my protocol to restore testicular size.
Anyone know if this is a valid test for my dose/length?
Anyone willing to try it?

LR, I think your questions is phrased awkwardly. I don't think we know what you're asking because of what you're saying.

You want to know if you can test your HCG, yet you already said you know you can use pregnancy tests to test for the presence of HCG.

What exactly are you asking?

Hiya Papa,
I understand. One might think English is my second language by the way I wrote that.
I am asking if anyone knows if using a pregnancy test to check for presence of hCG is a valid test.
Here's what happened. I started using my first hcg at 250iu twice a week for two weeks. I did not feel that it was working, so I upped the dose to 300iu EOD for another week. I began doubting that perhaps my hCG was junk. Then I recalled a post about using a pregnancy test as a check. I tried it, but results were negative.
So I am left wondering if this is a valid test, or is my hCG not all it shd be.

Many preg tests use HCG. If HCG is present in the sample, the device displays a "positive" sign.

It makes sense that if you put a liquid sample of, what is thought to be HCG, on a preg. test and it displays a negative result, then the sample did not contain any HCG.

Be sure the test device is not expired.

I've tried getting the same question answered before. I have HCG that is Dr prescribed and filled in a US pharmacy. I reconstituted the HCG and squirted it on a home pregnancy test and I've never been able to trigger a positive. I bet I tried this test 6 times with different brands preg tests and with both sterile water and bacteriostaic water. I know it was good HCG because it filled out the twins. I just gave up... If anyone has ever personally been able to trigger a positive preg test I'd love to hear how you did it. According to Anabolics by William Llewellyn you're supposed to take your HCG before bed and then piss on the test in the morning. Of coarse I read that after I burned through all the preg tests I had.

When AAS are put into a male body, the body's natural negative-feedback loops cause the body to shut down its own production of testosterone via shutdown of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis (HPGA). High levels of AASs that mimic the body's natural testosterone trigger the hypothalamus to shut down its production of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus. Without GnRH, the pituitary gland stops releasing luteinizing hormone (LH). LH normally travels from the pituitary via the blood stream to the testes, where it triggers the production and release of testosterone. Without LH, the testes shut down their production of testosterone, causing testicular atrophy.

In males, hCG mimics LH and helps restore and maintain testosterone production in the testes. As such, hCG is commonly used during and after steroid cycles to maintain and restore testicular size as well as endogenous testosterone production. However, if hCG is used for too long and in too high a dose, the resulting rise in natural testosterone will eventually inhibit its own production via negative feedback on the hypothalamus and pituitary.

Like other gonadotropins, hCG can be extracted from urine or by genetic modification. Pregnyl, Follutein, Profasi, and Novarel use the former method, derived from the urine of pregnant women. Ovidrel, on the other hand, is a product of recombinant DNA. So with that said I would think that by pissing on a stick you should be able to see if its good or not.

My method was to urinate on the pregnancy stick several hours after SC injecting my hCG.
The reason I bagan doubting efficacy was that at three weeks, it had not yet "filled out the twins". But perhaps it will take a little longer as I have been on TRT for about 8 months. Thanks for all the input. I am trying to validate my source.

Ok, while I have never used a pregnancy test to test HCG, I would think that applying the HCG directly to the test is how one would perform the test. Forget pissing, just directly apply the liquid HCG onto the device. All you're trying to do is see if the HCG is present in your product.
