They are charging more than UPS charges to cover the web sites cost of driving to the UPS store and time involved. To what degree they are ripping you off depends on how much UPS charges and how much they are charging relative to that.

If you go to www.UPS.com and use your zip code and weight of the package, you can see how much it costs to ship.

Dude that looks like the same Medical Site I ordered off of and I just did it because I needed it right now, and they ended up shipping USPS I received it next day but Damn. That is probably no I take it back That is were they make their money.

may I suggest contacting the people who run the site and complaining or saying "Look you are charging $40 to ship $8 worth of product that I can fit in the palm of my hand" - Either that or switch to another vendor. Thats pretty much all you can do... right?

Try this and I think you will find the shipping to be a lot cheaper..
