Fellas, I'd like to get some opinions. Can you grow off Test@250mgs/wk? Yes? Or no? I "might" add Deca@200mgs/wk and Dbol@25mgs/ed weeks 1-5. (All human grade) Stats: 33 years old, 6'3" 235lbs and 8-9% bf. No cycle experience. Please don't move to beginners section. I'd REALLY like to get some veteren opinions. What do you think?

If you are considering this amount then I would say to try it for sure. If you bust ass & have good training & great diet you will most likely see very nice gains.. I have seen guys make major gains on this small amount. You can always add next time if you want to.
 
the first cycle I ever did was Sostenon 250 (redijects) at 250mg/week for 8 weeks... that was over 10 years ago and If I remember correctly I got some good size... now my most recent cycle was 500mgs test, 300mgs Deca and 30mgs Dbol...that put on some great size( about 27 lbs)...

just my 2 cents...
 
I grew like a weed offa 200 mgs a week for my first few cycles with Test, then grew on 200 mg Deca cycles.
Had no idea what I was doing cycle wise but had training and diet down for 5 years so it worked.:D
250 mgs per week will put your free test in the upper range probably 800-1000 ng/dl or more.

test,deca and d-bol should be an excelent first cycle mate.
just makesure your diet and training are sorted first.
out of intrest have you got your pct sorted???
 
Considering the human body is said to produce only 3-11 mgs of test a week for a total of 77 a week at the most and you want to up that by more than 3x the amount, yes you will grow. on top of that Lee Priest has said in interviews all he ever takes is low dosages such as 250 wk test and 200 wk deca. remember its not the amount but the synergistic effect the drugs have on your body that give you the ability to get the most out of them.

Lee says he NEVER takes any test. Just a cc of Deca a week off season or JUST Winstrol precontest :D Well, actually he now says he hasn't used anything in the off-season the past 6 years.

I think you need to take what Lee says with a grain of salt:D .
But I will add to this something more. At age 38 with over 25yrs of natural training I put on 30lbs in 10 wks on 250-300ms / wk of test e... This was not someone who was no where near there natural max, but to the contrary I hit that at around 22. I did gain some fat cause I ate too much, but I gained a lot of muscle too. I have been tempted to try 250 again to see if it would still be worth it. The only thing is that an argument can be made that if you are gonna be shut down for say 10wks you might as well make the most out of it with a bit higher dosage. I am not sure how long it takes for 250/wk to shut you down & don't know if it is 100% or how it compares to higher doses. Most of this is trial & error. You need to have diet & training program prety decent though. For a first cycle for sure this is good. If you don't gain it means you need more work on your diet & training program. If you decide to do a cycle imo 250 is a good place to start.

I wanted to keep the doses low enough to where I wouldn't have to use an AI like Arimidex, but high enough to still be effective. My goal is pretty conservative, 10-12lbs while keeping my bodyfat in the single digits. I eat 6-7 protein-based meals a day and 300-350 grams of protein. I will boost it up to 400+ grams while on.
 
i love this thread, and I think the obvious answer is yes-especially when diet and training are dialed in. My first and only cycle so far was 500mg test for 12 wks-which is what I see recomended for a first cycle all the time. I'm by no means any kind of authority on this, but I figure you can always use a little more next time. In fact I think it should be something more like 250-400mg/wk. For my next one I actually plan on using less because I think I could do just fine on it. One of the older bb's that I know that I really look up to is on hrt at 200mg/wk and then goes up to 400 mg/wk for 10 wks ocassionally with 20mg or so of var. He is huge and also very adamant about using as little as possible to make gains. I really respect this. For me, having little desire to compete(although I would like to do one show someday just for the experience), bb is an extension of health and fitness and I'd like to keep my aas use in line with that.

Ok, Oldfella. I'm going with Omna@250mgs for 10 weeks & Dbol@25mgs/ED weeks 1-5. I'll also use a low dose of Arimidex(.5mgs EOD) to stay dry. Sounds good?
 
i was going to start a post about this, i am growing very very suprisingly well right now on just that. strength wise i feel in another month i will be as strong as i am on well over a gram and just under 250lbs. never, never thought this would be possible, got me rethinking alot of things.
 
would certainly make this hobby much more affordable ;)
