I think I'm gona but some of those grippers. They are only $20 each and it will be fun and challenging to see how many of them I can close. There is a book on grip strength @ ironmind.com that I will get aswell.
i saw the book and read every thing on that page. i was thinking of getting the no.1 or the one before that . it is rated at 100lbs and you can buy those helpers to add more wt resistance.
How strong are you feelnfit? I can get 350 for bench for 8 and 455 for deads for a good 9 and the number 1 is easy I can get a good 9 sometimes 10 reps with it.
i was doing 485 on the flat and 405 on incline but i am no powerlifter.
i have no idea now what i can do. i donot do deadlifts except stiff legged ones. i am dieting now to see what i need to do for possible fall bbuilding contest. i know on dips i do my bodyweight plus 2-45 plates for 8 reps if that is any good and i do 225lbs over head extensions. thats all i can remember without looking at my logg book.
Got the number 2 today and closed it my first time....I got a total of 3 reps but let me tell you its alot harder!! I'm about to order a number 3 soon and I know I wont beable to close that first time.
I tried both the #1 and #2 and closed them both without much effort. The #3 was a bitch. I could only get that one half way. Not too bad for never touching them before and not warming up.
I bought the number 1 and the trainer about 6 weeks ago and love it. I do 10 reps with the 1 followed by as many reps as I can with the trainer. 4 total sets. Then I use the wrist ripper www.wristripper.com. I like this alot because you can use the round ends like a doorknob twist to work the outside of your forearm also. I do this at night 2-3 times a week while watching TV.
for my forarms i use a wooden dowel about 1 1/2 inch dia and 2ft laong with a 3 ft cord to loop the plates with and just roll it up and down till my fingers wont bend.
