Here's a kid I'm prepping for Teen Nats in July. We'll try to keep the thread updated throughout the prep. The side chest pic is 14 wks out, the quad shot is from 16 wks out and the hamstring shot is 20 weeks out.

Wow, that is a very impressive teen. Best of luck to him, he should do well. Would be nice to see a more overall picture.

I'll try to get some more pics this weekend.
 
Something odd stands out to me. His quads look pretty good from the front, and his hams look great from the back but.... why do his legs appear flat from the side chest? Seems like he has "high hams", cause he has no mass near the knee? Also the quads appear flat from the side also? Maybe its a bad pic or hes standin wrong.

I will say hes very lean for 16 weeks out. Limbs look great, best of luck to him
 
I think his legs look big from the side, not the lowest insertion on the ham, but very big nonetheless. Incredible development for a teen.

I see what you're saying in the side chest. I'll take a look at him today and see what he's doing in the pose. He took all those pics himself with the camera on a timer, so he might've been rushing.
 
I think once you fix that pose for him, it will look fine...
 
Training and Nutrition

Hey Wolfpack,

Is it just the nutrition part you handle for them getting them ready for competition or do you also handle setting up a training program as well?

I really just do the nutrition. Most of the guys I work with have their own training styles. I might make suggestions if they ask, but generally they do their own thing. I have had 1-2 guys ask me to give them a training program as well though.
 
hamstring shot

that hamstring photo reminds of the wood cutouts you see on lawns of the old lady bent over tending to her flowers. weird thoughts pop in my head..just haven't been taken away in the lil white van yet..:p

this is crazy

for some reason i remembered this kid today and wondered how he did in his comp. (i thought he already competed)...best of luck to him!
