Well this question was asked on fetlife's group "ask a female a question and expect an honest answer" Someone on there was considering doing PE exercises and overwhelmingly the women were against it... Most said that they like 6-6 1/2", of about 30 or so responses, maybe one said she likes 8"... As far as confidence goes, that's more of a psychological issue that one needs to address...
Do you really think that most bodybuilders are confident in their bodies?
I knew a figure competitor who didn't want to go to the beach because she wasn't at her best! She didn't feel right displaying herself at anything but her competition shape... That's just plain silly and in a way is a bit of a mental illness... The other problem with this, is that it's a bit too new, at least with bb'ing there is a lot more knowledge and experimentation and years of observation that has gone into it... This is new and it just seems like a bit drastic to be injecting the penis so often, it seems a bit risky and for what?
In either event, I was trying to illustrate that even if this did work, I see the same type of thing happening here as with bodybuilders who suffer from muscle dysmorphia, where that much size isn't really even necessary... Being truly sexy is from being confident and that doesn't necessarily mean that you're hung like a horse, it means that you're confident in what you do have... As I've matured, I've learned to view sex as more of a means of deriving pleasure and enjoyment and with a special lady showing my affection and sometimes love... Not like I used to when I was a kid, back then it was a competition and about trying to impress a girl with my stamina, size and technique... One you learn to accept yourself, relax and just enjoy, you and your partner will be a lot happier and more fulfilled...
