To make the story quick I was injured working in a Paper Mill and suffered a Torn Labrum and Compressed AC Joint in my left shoulder along with Nerve Damage in both arms and neck. I went from Winning 6 World Championship in Benching and holding 5 World Records to Fat and crazily out of shape due to not being able to do much for over 2 years. Sadly in my eyes I thought I was still in shape until my girlfriend took a picture of me one day... and then it was ON! btw my Best Competition Bench was 605@178 and knowing I wasn't able to be that man anymore crushed me mentally but it didn't mean I didn't still have drive!
First two months I just did 30 minutes of cardio a day alone with counting my calories. the following three months I dialed in my Carbs, Protein and Fat. Cardio was 30-60 minutes in the morning and hit the weights in the evening for 35-60 minutes a night along with another 30 minutes of cardio.
This was about 3 years ago but thought Id share my pictures and story! This year I have new Goals and have found myself getting injured every time I turn around... (frustrating) but Hoping to finally get over 200lbs (really want 210 with good abs)!! so Bring in 2015!
