confused on measurment q for igf and pmgf

Not really sure why i cannot figure this out. i come up with one number but the guy i got this stuff from has a sheet that explains how to mix and what the mcg per tic is on an insulin syringe and our #'s are different.


This is how i am figuring it

1mg igf = 1000mcg mixed with 2 ml of aa so

1000mcg= 10mcg per tic if mixed with 1 ml so

1000mcg mixed with 2ml of aa then each tic would be 5mcg correct?

on his mixture sheet it says that 1000mcg mixed with 2 ml aa each tic is 10mcg

since i am a dumbass today can you also help me with this one lol

a 2mg vial of pmgf mixed with 2 ml of mixture yields how many mcg per tic on an insulin syringe

i come up with 10mcg per tic


i think i am right on both the igf and the pmgf measurments----but if his sheet is right then it is going to throw my math off on both


btw i am using a 1ml insulin syring so it has 100 tics on it

I'd like to bump this...I'm a bit confused with my Peg MGF also and would like a double check by one of you experts..

I bought : 4 PEGylated MGF 2mg

I recieved 4 Vials and each vial says 2000 mcg...does 2000 mcg equal 2 mg?

And I was told by a very reputable guy to mix it with 2 ml of the reconst liquid.

If this is so then each vial reconstituded will yield 200 iu of
MGF

This will give me 12.5 pinnings in each vial, 4 weeks at the 16-17 iu mark for a 4 week cycle.

Any input for me....yea....nay, my math right?

this is what confuses me as well
you said your guy said that 1000mcg mixed with 2 ml then each tic equals 10mcg thats what my guy says as well------however i think that your pmgf are in 2mg vials with would equal 2000mcg then the math would work

but the math doesn't work out on 1000mcg in 2ml of mixture

2mg=2000mcg so if you mix that with 2ml of mixture then you have

1000mcg per 1 ml of mixture and you have 100 tics in a ml and in your insulin syringe so

1000mcg/100 tics = 10mcg per tic so using 2mg you have 2000mcg in 2ml of mixture which would be 200 iu

so 2000mcg/200iu = 10mcg per iu or tic

i think this is correct but my suppliers sheet does not agree with my way of figuring it

i spoke to my guy tonight who is very experienced and well know on the other boards...

i was mistaken...

its 1cc per mg of active. vials that contain 2,000mcg (2mg) of active will need 2ml (2cc) of liquid in order to get you 10mcg per iu (on the syringe).

if you wouldn't have been crinkling up papers in math class and throwing them at me I coulda be paying attention ))))
