Converting VHS to digital?

Anyone can recommend the best way to convert my VHS cassetes to a digital or a format please? I know Wallgreens do them but mine are a few that I had from UK which are in the PAL format and not the NTSC so that may complicate things. Even so, if I can convert them to the NTSC format, that be great. Any suggestions be appreciated!

and you can do it all day long...... Mind you I havent had any experience with this....only cassette tapes.... through an internal converter..... once lol

This can work but I firstly need to convert my VHS cassettes from the PAL format to the universal NTSC format...
