morning weight was 208. pretty flat. doing a ton of cardio. starting to come together though.

do you think the quest for SIZE, SIZE, SIZE plays a major role????

I know you've heard it before, but work on stomach control in the side shots...
 
Last pic shows a lot of thickness, you will look great and right on track. I don´t see midsection as a flaw, when you get tighter it will be smaller and X frame will be good
 
I actually think that your mid-section looks much more improved than it did in your last few threads.
 
dave im about to give you some tough love just because i truly like you and i am the EXACT same way as you! so this is something that i have truly realized recently and someone even made a good post recently saying the same thing but saying it in a general form and not directed toward anyone.

YOU have got to maintain discipline in the offseason and make a 24/7 commitment if you truly want to go far in this sport. You and I are just those short thick type of guys that muscle comes pretty easily (easier than most) but along with that comes bodyfat very easily. You have got to stay LEAN in the offseason and by lean i mean almost where you are right now and then diet nice and slow and WISELY for 12-16 weeks to get pro quality peeled. I am going to make this very commitment this coming new year if it kills me. I don't know if I myself will be able to continue bodybuilding due to various things in my personal life, but i would really like to see you achieve all that you want in this sport dave but it comes with a price and that is maintaining strict hard disciplined eating in the offseason. YOU HAVE THE MUSCLE! you have got to get peeled and i mean peeled to compete at that level and do very very well. I have done ok due to some good bodyparts and a lot of muscle on my frame but i as well will never achieve what i want if i don't do the exact same thing im telling you. If you are going to spend the type of money u are hiring fakri then do yourself some justice and go to him at a point where he doesn't have to kill you to get you stage ready. Continue on with your current journey and bring the best dave that you can bring to florida as i will do the same for me and then after this show sit down and decide if you can and if you will put in the neccesary commitment and discipline that it takes to get peeled like a pro bodybuilder. Good luck in 4 weeks and i can't wait to see you and kick the shit with you for a moment, and know that i truly want you to SUCEED in this sport or i would not have taken the time to post this if i didn't.
 
I´m with b-boy, also the leaner you get the more your waist will shrinck giving you an X frame from hell

honestly i have no answer other than maybe squatting and deadlifting heavy with no belt. but i also think it looks the best it ever has. i havent abused, food drugs, or insulin. so i really dont know.

my goal is to make the top 15. top 10 would be cool. but i know i have a lot of work to do.

b-boy thanks for that. i really appreciate that. even though i think i stayed pretty lean this offseason(started my diet around 225), i completely understand where your coming from. but it is way easier said than done. i would love to be able to really put an offseason together, and im pretty sure life is gonna start getting in the way even more than it does and i cant do this forever. depending on what happens in florida, will decide what im gonna do next. if i dont even make the top 15 than im really gonna have to look hard, and maybe take a year off. either way im just gonna keep grinding cause thats all i can do, and wish you the best in 4 weeks and ill pick your brain when i get there. :)
 
hmmmm...well I actually think you look pretty dam good Dave...A bit behind from the back but you still got 4 weeks...And if things are rolling good right now then 4 weeks can be plenty of time...Stomach from the side i think can be fixed or at least improved if you play with posing a bit, by not hunching over so much and your upper body being more upright...You wont be the best conditioned guy but prolly one of the thickest...I think if you really kill it the next 4 weeks that you will be just fine...
 
You are behind...alot needs to happen in the next four weeks. I would sugar coat it all, but you seem like a straight up guy who wants and deserves straight up responses.
