Didn't see what he looked like at the show. I seen him at the gym a few weeks before at the gym and he looked pretty good to me. He always seems to stay in good shape. He's a cool guy. Always answered any questions I asked him. Good luck to him in the future.
I was at the LA Championships when Dennis competed.. and he looked pretty good. His condition kept him from taking the overall.
He is a good looking guy and his physique flows well but he was just not hard enough to take the overall.. He won his class but
He lost the overall to the welter who weighed 156lbs..
He really made a major change because he did not look even close to that good at his first pro show(obviously . He should really focus on his condition because all eyes are on this guy.. Or were... but... He needs to get in great condition when your competing against good amateurs or pros..
Manion give him a pro card for winning a couple bigger shows in Europe or Russia ???
Overall I was thinking he has some good potential but needs to put on some serious size...Plus, I've heard he doesnt like to eat alot...I dont know, just what I heard...
Back in 2007 after Denis won the LA championships, I did a photoshot with him and we spent two whole days in Miami eating out... and you're right, he really doesn't eat that much! I remember him ALWAYS asking for a doggy bag at the restaurant cause he wasn't hungry enough to finish his plate!!!
End of the day he had 5 or 6 of these doggy bags full of food in his sports bag... all to be thrown away!
Well, maybe that's why he stays so lean...
I haven't seen his recent pics so really can't tell, but all I can say is he had the best shape I had ever seen on a bodybuilder in real life... I even remember sending pics of him to Phil who had never heard of the man yet.
On a side note, he's a very nice, down to earth guy.
