Well the USCG and my Doc demand that I get fit or else they are pulling my Captains license.
First off...my list of meds and supps taken..
OTC-EDay: Zinc 50mg,Stinging Nettle Root,Yohimbine hcl 10mg, Raspberry Ketone 4g.
Rx-Eday Synthroid 112mcg, Lisinopryl, Rx-EW Test E 250mg.

Second I ran across a post last night of FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and I sat down and entered my food log from the last 3 weeks . I thought I was doing good until it knocked me upside my head and it was terrible. My %'s are High Carbs, Med Fats, Low protein based on what I was eating everyday..

Today I have adjusted my %'s to Proteins 54%, Fats 26%, Carbs 19%...I have came to the conclusion I need help.

I know its more than just percentages and grams but during a cutting diet I would like to know what is your typical % baseline and intake grams of Protein, Fats, Carbs.

I also have been searching and I can not find a straight answer on this question. "On average how many calories does the body burn on an average person" or where could I find some charts

I'm going to guess that 1000mg of yohimbine HCl everday was a typo... 100 ED is still pretty excessive.
 
Sure is...I got jittery fingers today...lol its actually just 10mg
 
I did decipher DP's average diet percentages..Protein 60%, Fat 30%, Carbs 10%...
 
It always come down to this: eat less move more. It helped me go from a 40" waist to a 29-30" one. I lost 46lbs in 14 weeks doing just that. I generally ate about 1800-2000 calories a day.
 
For sure...thats the known concept...but I think by manipulating %'s in order to fine tune my genetic profile is key. I live in a very controlled environment so its very easy for me to control all aspects..Just when you only have a 155ft boat to walk and 2 sets of stairs to climb your limited, but I do get to do ghetto workouts with buckets and other items available here...

What do you weigh right now? How many calories are you taking in?
 
Weight as of last monday was 334lbs
Body Fat Comp 34%

Calories taking in on average is now 1200 to 1800 per day according to my journal. I just didnt realize that I was taking in so many carbs and fats compared to protein until yesterday when I sat down and actually went through everything.

Plus I should know better...diets have never been my thing as I never desired to be ripped. I worked out for power. Unfortunately the docs and USCG dont see it that way and said lose it or bye.

Have you thought about hiring someone to teach you how to diet properly?

Thats very little calories for your weight. At that little amount of calories, it shouldnt matter the composition of you diet, weight should be falling off if you are exercising too. FYI. Its good you are loosing it. Its not healthy for you to be that weight.
 
Nothing will help you drop weight better than a low carb/ketosis diet. Also, 1800-2000 calories for a guy your size is too low. You'll lose a lot more fat by eating 6-8 high protien, low carb meals a day. Also, don't be afraid of fats. Just stick to unsaturated sources.

If your using a diet log like fitday.com, I'd shoot for something like 50% protein, 30% fat, 20% carbs and a shit load of water and fresh vegatables! Only problem with those % logs is: you have to be really accurate with your portion size or your %'S will get all f**ked up. Do you have a scale?

Finally, you need to do daily cardio. Shoot for 30-45 mins first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Try and keep your heart rate around 125-150 for the whole time. Just walking back and forth or carrying around a few buckets ain't gonna cut it.

BiggTdogg...50/30/20 is around about what I was figuring. I dont have a scale with me yet but I ordered one...this port town has no walmart and the local cvs doesnt have one.

the stairs here are 15ft high and I walk them up and down consecutively for 30 minutes 2x a day. I know I need more cardio thats why when I get home I hit the stair climbers instead of the treadmill. The buckets have multiple uses especially when attached to a davit. Any little bit helps
