I am trying to cut down now and have had some losses but CANT get into ketosis.
I'll lay out just the fact then a few ideas I have about why - I am open to NOT doing a keto diet but it just always worked for me better.
60/40 fat/prot - 170/250 - approx 2600 cals
205-208 (depleted/carbed) 5'9"
**taking 25 mcg t3
** ECA 2-3 times a day
Trying to keep soda low - was too high but never had issues in the past
Using a topical fat burner as well
In the past I did lower protein but the palumbo/anabolic type diets say higher prot is ok. Is the higher prot with the low dose t3 causing the problems?
I show ZERO ketones and dont have the normal energy that I get from ketosis.
The only thing that made me show trace once was pgcl and only one time, not consistently.
Should I just give up and try another type of diet?
Any tips on a low carb but non-keto diet if that is my only solution?
