I just started my contest prep.Here is my current diet ( 15 weeks out )
Meal 1 - 10.00 am
50g Oats
100ml Skimmed Milk
10 Egg Whites
Protein Shake
Meal 2 - 1.00 pm
250g Chicken Breast
50g Brown Rice
Meal 3 - 4.00 pm
250g Chicken Breast
50g Brown Rice
Meal 4 - 7.00 pm
5 Rice Cakes
Protein Shake
Meal 5 - 10.00 pm
10 Egg Whites
50g Brown Rice
Stir Fry Vegetables
Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Works out at around 300g Protein / 200g Carbs.I havent counted fat as it is very low.I do take 1000mg Omega 369 with meals.I would like to do a lower carb / higher fat diet,but as im diabetic,i need small amouts of carbs throughout the day,so im stuck with the high protein / low-mod carb / low fat diet.My question is,would you throw in a high carb day once per week ?Was thinking of taking in 400g carbs on Sundays,along with a small cheat meal.....Opinions ?
