My girl actually requested i cook this again so i figure its good..

Marinate one package Pork Tenderloin in a zip lock bag in refrigerator:
1/3 cup light soy sauce
1/3 cup dijon mustard
1/3 cup honey

Get a sautte pan or cast iron pan with about 2 Tbsp olive oil really hot.. I keep my gas stove on Hi.. Carefully place marinated pork in pan (watch out for oil!) Sear on each side 2 to 3 minutes..

Turn gas down to low/med heat.. Pour in a little more than 1/3 cup red whine.. I used sutter home cabernet.. Then pour in marinade from zip lock bag.. Cover and let pork cook another 15 to 20 minutes, turning half way thru..

yeah!

sounds great.
I love pork tenderloin and I'll try this!

how many pounds of pork does that marinade?

Not sure.. I would say around 4 lbs.. They come in a prepackage and all of them are around the same size.. I got them at Shoprite for 3.99/ lb..

bargains...

I try to stay under 3.50-4.00/lb now.
Used to get the tenderloins on sale at 3.00/lb but those days are over.:(
All protein sources are going through the roof!

WHAT WILL WE DO???

Do what our ancestors did........................hunt and gather!
:D

DOIN' IT...........

My folks raise a garden every year, have a dozen or so Blueberry bushes, tomato, cucumber, squash, asparagus... all the good veggies plus herbs!
We usually hunt in the fall. Deer and wild hogs, the occasional rabbit and dove shoot.
The problem is that time to spend hunting and the luck, or lack thereof, is an unreliable variable in my food supply!
Just like our ancestors......

Man times are tough, but at least there aren't many predators higher up on the food chain lookin to eat us!
