bump for CROWLER question, I to was wondering if this is the angle or the point of inject. Thanks I ask because some say to go from the top to hit the side delt and some say to hit it from the side. I would thing the bis you always hit from the top not the side

Most injections are from the outside towards the bone.

Delts are from the side, not from the top. Bis are from the side too. Needle is pointing towards the bone.

BigA--so essentially the way that the pics are shown (for example SEO Guide--Bi's) and the way the arrows are drawn, this is the way the needles should be inserted? Instead of coming with arm straight out (say palms up) and coming down on the muscle?

its a little more detailed for beginners.

Spotinjections makes me grimace at some of the injection sites as they are so fuckin wrong!!!

Bicep shots - totally wrong - you do it the way it's show there, you are injecting not in the muscle head, but in between them.

Glutes - totally missed the proper muscle! Do it the way it shows there, it will be amazing if you don't hit the sciatic nerve!

Traps - wtf they are doing showing it's ok to inject the neck?? And then the trap shot is so wrong, in the photo, he's probably hitting the collar bone.

Quads - he missed the muscle in the photo! He's injecting way too far to the side!

You do them from the side, directly aimed towards the bone.
You will be too shallow from the top, as you will be near the edge of the muscle head - remember, there's two heads, and they join at the top.

Yes, that is where a correct glute injection should be. I always just called it the glutes. I can't believe that people inject anywhere else in the glutes - maybe spotinjections is to blame.

The exact location can clearly be seen on the photos on the howtodoinjections.com site.

different opinions i guess

i have used most of them on that site and have never once had any type of problem. could not tell u about the bicep injection cuz i have never done it there and have no plans to. traps,tri's,glutes, and such have always done me ok. only complaint is the same as any injection and that is that sometimes u get an irritated injection site. but i can live with that
