Although I have been a member for a while this is my first post. I have always had help in my training and prep so I have relied on those people in the past for feedback on progress. This year I am going it alone with no training partner and no other competitors around me in the gym to help. I am 7 weeks out in these pics and am just looking for a little feedback from anyone who would want to provide any. I have always enjoyed reading the comments made on other competitors by everyone so I thought I would give it a shot. Thanks in advance for anything you have to offer. BTW, I am 5' 10", 207 in these pics and have a goal set of being 197 on stage at the top of light heavy.

Got a solid physique bro...keep nailing it out for 7 weeks and bring that WOW factor!
 
Looking good, definitely on schedule! Nail that conditioning and you will do well.
 
Great physique.

A couple posing tips:

-try holding your elbows slightly higher than your shoulders in both the rear and front double bicep - it will make your arms look bigger, and your taper look better

-suck your stomach in tighter on the side chest and tricep shots
 
Thank you guys for the compliments and Shelby I will certainly work on what you said about posing. It is always so hit or miss with how high my elbows are in that bringing them higher does just what you said yet leaving them a little lower makes me feel as though my lats come out more. Thanks everyone again for the feedback, i'll post a few more pics around 4 weeks to show changes and see what you'll think.

Look good. Maybe try bringing up lats a bit to counter the rest of torsoe and perhaps some other undies. Green might not be your color:D
 
Dude - you are looking really strong for 7 weeks out! great job. Great thickness and lots of cut coming in. As the next few weeks go by you will really improve vastly with the cuts & striations. Overall great job - nice proportions & symmetry! But a little pale - get working on that Texas tan - LOL
 
Very good solid physique, keep practicing your posing and taking more pics, that way you can have a better Idea of how the pose should feel when you're doing it right.

Because there won't be a mirror on stage. Good luck and very good start, look good for 7 weeks out.
 
your looking good for 7 weeks out, keep pushing hard on the diet and you can be peeled come show time!

your upcoming offseason you really need to work on back width, either your not flaring your lats in the front and back double bicep picks or you got really narrow lats and you need to really work hard on fixing that, it would make your front double bicep pick waaaaayyyyy more impressive, you got nice biceps and that lat flare will add to your taper and give a real wow effect to that shot!

Really appreicate the feedback guys. What you say you see I believe to be very accurate. My width has been the issue everytime I have stepped on stage so far (this is my 3rd year competing). I have split up my back training into two different training sessions to allow me to focus on upper back one day and heavy middle and lower back on another. I feel like it has helped but still have a ways to go. I'll post more pics soon as my waist comes down and taper improves. Thanks again!
