First Blood Work - Which tests/panels?

Hello!
I’m having a hard time finding some info...I’m pretty new to the forums so my apologies in advance if I’ve missed something in my searches...and I’m hoping for some enlightenment.

For a male in their 40’s who’s about to start their first cycle, which lab tests are critical to order? Which are good to get (but perhaps not critical)? The companies that administer these tests offer such a huge range of different panels, each varying wildly in cost. I’d like to make sure I order what is important without paying a ridiculous sum for unnecessary panels.
